From working at the prestigious international law firms to managing Fortune 500 IP portfolios Chris has represented clients small and large. His experience includes litigating high stakes and complex patent subject matter as well as prosecuting matters and counseling clients at cutting edge companies such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, and Qualcomm. He has exposure to international IP and business matters during his tenure at the law firms as well as managing IP portfolios in-house.

Prior to his law career, Chris was an engineer managing avionics projects at Honeywell in the aerospace division, using his expertise in software and hardware to meet company goals and deliver exceptional avionics products for regional jets.

The son of two devoted public servants, Hogan got his start practicing law with the Santa Barbara and Ventura County city offices where he gained a reputation for being a skilled negotiator and a fierce advocate for his clients with a talent for cross-examining expert witnesses and successfully arguing tough cases to juries. With thousands of hours in the courtroom and dozens of jury trials under his belt, Hogan opened his own practice, where he has been representing clients in diverse practice areas, including intellectual property law, civil law, and employment law.

When he’s not working for his clients, Hogan is writing computer programs. A tech enthusiast, Hogan keeps on top of the latest developments in the field, and builds and trains his own machine learning models to tackle cutting edge data science tasks in the areas of natural language processing and image recognition.

Hogan graduated from UC Berkeley before attending Loyola Law School in Los Angeles where he received his Juris Doctor degree. Hogan is licensed to practice law in California, as well as the Central District of California.
